Angela and I took over the club from Gill, who did a great job, and we had many fine meals.
On 6 October, 16 members had lunch at the Lycée “La Closerie” in Saint-Quay-Portrieux. We had booked places in the restaurant. On the day, we were seated in the Brasserie with a different menu, and we were not aware that this was not part of the restaurant. The food was still very nice, and the young staff were very pleasant. Angela and I are grateful for the positive comments we received afterwards.
We have learnt, hopefully, from our first event and will be aware of questions that we need to ask of future venues. We would also like members of the group to tell us of any food allergies so that we can be sure every member is able to join us. We’re looking forward to seeing more of you in the future months.
