Easy Walking Club
Diane has agreed to take charge of finding walks, which are significantly shorter and easier than hikes, and to lead them independently of the Walking Club. They will take place one Friday afternoon per month, usually on a different date from the Walking Club, to allow those who wish to participate in both longer and shorter walks, but always respecting the pace and breaks of those who may have some difficulties.
The easy walks are a maximum of approximately 3.5 km long, mostly local but sometimes a little further afield. They all offer plenty of opportunities to stop and rest, admire the scenery, plants and wildlife, and take photos.
Diane would like the members of her group to suggest easy walks that they know; someone has already suggested a lovely walk in the Vallée de l'Hyère in Carhaix.
French and English speakers are all welcome and encouraged to practise both languages  A great opportunity to make new friends!
We remind club members that they must inform Diane in advance if they wish to participate or not, or if they cannot come at the last minute, so that other members of the group do not have to wait for them in vain, which is very frustrating for everyone. Thank you all!
