




Meditation Group
One of our English-speaking members, Annie, has volunteered to lead a meditation group on Mondays from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at her home in Kergrist-Moëlou, to help us refocus on the week ahead. She can accommodate up to 8 people and offers refreshments at the end of each meeting.
Meditation has been a spiritual discipline for hundreds of years and involves observing your breathing (Zen), listening to music, singing and doing exercises such as tai chi or yoga.
The fundamental principle is to learn to ‘calm the mind’ in order to create a space to reconnect with your inner centre. By strengthening this connection, we are better able to return to this place within ourselves in our daily lives, which provides a sense of balance and stability. It also strengthens intuition and allows us to take a step back from overly emotional situations in order to gain a clearer perspective.
